Carpet Repairs & Re-Stretching in Bristol
Loose, rippled or damaged carpet doesn’t always need replacing. Often it just needs fitting properly.

Common problems we fix
- Carpet that’s gone baggy or rippled over time
- Seams that have started to lift or fray
- Carpet pulled up for flooring work elsewhere and needing refitting
- Small burns, stains or damaged patches needing a repair patch
- Carpet that was never fitted correctly in the first place
Re-stretching, explained
Carpet naturally loosens over time as it’s walked on, especially if it wasn’t power-stretched properly during the original fit. Re-stretching pulls the carpet taut again and re-secures it to the gripper rod around the room, removing ripples and trip hazards without the cost of a full replacement.
If the carpet itself is beyond saving, it may be more sensible to look at a full carpet fitting instead — we’ll always give you an honest opinion on which makes more sense for your situation.
